Pros: Fun, fast paced, more then just a boxing game.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line:
Get this game because it is fun and has a lot of unique elements.
This is a fun game that is very close to the movie plot. You have the ability to play as either the Autobots or Decepticons.
From the start this game fast paced and unique because it is more then a fighting game. You use the Wii remote to fight, drive and many other things at once. The levels are fully destructible. You can throw just about anything, climb buildings, shoot down helicopters, and blowup most anything else.
I really like how you need to try different tactics in order to succeed at this game. Sometime you need to be a robot, and sometimes not to finish the chapter. Sometimes you have to throw cement blacks at the other robots to disable them so you can move in and punch them, other times you need to shot them or hit them with a tree. The police seem like fly buzzing around, but can inflict a lot of damage if you are not careful.
My favorite part is when you have to drive really fast through a tunnel, then destroy the ventilation fans at the end of the tunnel, then race back out as the tunnel collapses. It is a very unique kind of game play, especially with the ability of Wii to bring your motions into the game.
At first you start off as Bumble Bee, and work your way through the characters. Each character has his own advantages and disadvantages. You really have to test them all out as you go a long.
In between chapters you can replay previous chapters, or just explore the current one to find hidden items or to practice your skills. I hind this helpful when you don't want to have to focus on your objective at the same time.
This game seems to be very long and difficult. You can not just play through the first time. It really takes getting things figured out. When you save there is an indicator of how far you have completed, and to get to 10% takes a long time.
The graphics are nice and the game is very well designed. The way you have to coordinate your two hands to look in the direction you want and move to the place you want really shows how much control you have over your character and the environment. If you are not careful, you will lose that control and get really confused.
