iPod shuffle is based on Apple’s incredibly popular shuffle feature, which randomly selects songs from a user’s music library. The clickable buttons make the iPod shuffle even easier to use. Press the center button to play and pause, press the outer buttons to skip forward and back or adjust the volume up and down. The iPod shuffle now supports Genius Mixes, the popular iTunes® feature that automatically creates mixes from songs in a user’s music library that go great together. Genius Mixes provide the perfect way to rediscover music users already have, but may not have listened to recently. Minimize

Author's Review
The 4th Generation iPod Shuffle is one of the most reliable and simple MP3 players out there. At 1.14x1.24x0.34 inches, (A little bigger than the typical SD card) the iPod Shuffle is highly portable and features a clip to allow users to clip on various objects or clothing. Although it doesn't have a screen and users are forced to memorize song selections/playlists, this allows the iPod can hold up to 15 hours in its battery. What's interesting is the VoiceOver feature, which tells users on how much battery is left or which playlist/song to select. One nitpick about the VoiceOver however, is that it's a computerized voice, and as usual, it's really hard to listen or comprehend what it's saying, especially in 29 different languages. The big button can be seen as both annoying or useful. To those who have big hands or fingers, or those who want to use the clip, it's hard to press on the button that is required or needed to do something. The buttons do its job though, and it's textured so that people can tell which button is which. Another thing that's useful is the innovative design of the USB computer charger/data transfer. As opposed to the clunky USB tray of the 3rd Generation iPod Shuffle, the small USB cable is designed to plug into the headphone jack on the iPod, which considerably saves space. The iPod can hold up to 2GB worth of songs and MP3s. To some, this could be an issue, but the iPod is perfect those who don't have a lot of music and just want to casually listen. The standard headphones offer mediocre performance when compared to other headphones, but they do its job. The In Ear headphones with the remote and mic are heavily recommended. Finally, the iPod comes at a very reasonable price of usually 40 dollars. At 2GB in a small package, Apple offers the best at a very cheap price.
