Overall, this is either the best, or one of the best ipods apple has come out with, in my opinion. I bought this ipod as opposed to the touch because of the price and the memory, and I have previously owned 3 classics. This paricular Ipod has a playback time of 36 hours. This is much better than previous ipods, and i have noticed that i have to charge my ipod alot less frequently than my old ones. It also has a playback time of 6 hours for video, which i found often lasts even longer. This is great for plane trips if your laptop isnt currently with you. The ipod is also extremely sturdy.

The ipod's appearance is very classy, and has the usual extremely shiny back that is prone to getting fingerprints within seconds of use, and has a nice click wheel that IS very smooth however can be unresponsive at times. Don't get frustrated, because most of the time the ipod begins functioning again within seconds. One of my favorite new features is Genius. Genius groups songs that go well together into a playlist. You activate this feature with Itunes, and can make a playlist of up to 25 songs which is great. The video quality of the player is fantastic, and the measurements of the device are as follows:

I Love this Ipod, and would recommend it to anybody who has a huge library of music, likes the new innovative features mentioned above, and enjoys video playback on ipods ( not really a fan because of the small screen, but since there are 120g of memory i put videos on it anyway).
