Okay so I've had my ipod touch for about a year now exactly. I must say it's way better than the Ipod Classic models in terms of everything but storage space.
I mostly got an ipod to play music, and the ipod touch makes finding and playing music a very enjoyable experience. For starters it displays everyting you have in a nice list with the album artwork in Portrait position. I normally use this mode over the cool Landscape mode. The landscape mode is good when you dont want to see like how far into the track you want to go. I rate my music a lot and the touch makes that easy. The artwork looks terrific in both modes.
Watching Videos is also really cool on the touch. Its basically just like watching it threw itunes....It looks really nice. 2 other things the ipod does and does well are the calendar apps and the Notes app. I can save really useful things in the Notes App...and I can put important tasks in the calendar or just keep note of things that are going on. The interfaces for these are really easy, just like the ipod as a whole.
Photos also look great on the touch....They Maps App is also really useful. in fact every App here is useful! To make things even better you can get even more apps via Itunes...or wait...you can actaually just download apps wirelessly. To make things even better...if you have wifi connection you can download movies and songs wirelessly!!! I cannot tell you how cool that is.
I have minor grievances about this product. For one the youtube app is a little glitchy. The safari app seems to freeze here and there. The ipod will be set to shuffle on shake when you first start using it. Also the headphones they give you are useful but they break or stop working pretty soon after you buy it.
Overall this is an extremly good use of your money. i have not been bored when I use this thing(with wifi)...not even once. Go ahead and get the Ipod Touch!
