I know there are a lot of us that, are over 40, who are looking for a miracle to get rid of those fine lines on our faces and to firm the skin and tighten it.

Recently I tried Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25 to see just how this would work.

How do you know which Avon product is the Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25?

This comes in a brown bottle with a brown cap. Underneath the cap is a white pump and written vertically on the bottle, in white. Anew is written. You can't miss it. One good thing is you can ask your Avon Rep. to get you a sample to try before you buy. I know it doesn't give you the full benefits, but you can get the feel of it.

With the cost running about $32.00, how much do you use and how long does a bottle last?

You use an amount about between the size of a nickel and a quarter when you first start. After about a week you can use less and still get results. A bottle lasts me about six weeks. You get 1.72 ounces and I know that doesn't sound like a lot for the price, but you would be surprised at how little you really need for once a day use.

How does the Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25 feel on your skin?

The cream comes out a yellowish color and when you rub it between your palms to get ready to smooth over your skin, it feels wonderful. The scent is very pleasing and your skin feels so soft after use and there is an SPF in the cream. To me, this is a cross between a cream and a lotion. Thicker than a lotion, but not as thick as a cream. Just a wonderful feeling.

How is the scent, does it cause any allergic reactions?

The scent is very pleasing to me. It isn't strong and does fade quickly. I haven't had any breakouts, or other irritations when using the Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25.

OK, how does it work on wrinkles and other signs of aging?

This isn't the fountain of you, that's for sure. I would say that it did soften those fine lines around my eyes and left my skin feeling like satin, but, still, lines are showing. I would say this would be best for people in their late 20's or early 30's to help keep things in tune. People older than that, I don't think, reap the real benefits of the Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25.

Do you recommend the Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25?

If you want softer skin, then I do recommend this product. If you are looking for something that will reduce the lines, then pass on it.
