In May 2006 I wrote about an Avon eye product, and wrote (honestly at the time) that it was the best I'd ever tried. BUT -- that was nothing compared to Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Wrinkle Corrector.

In Spring 2007, my online Avon rep offered full size (1.7 oz) jars of Avon Line and Wrinkle Corrector for $12. Can't afford not to try it for that! So I did, and all I can say is WOW. I noticed results in just a few days, and my man is jealous that I don't have wrinkles, even around my eyes (ha! I see them -- but much less these days).

Now, I am not vain, mind you. But since 40 is the new 30 (!!) it doesn't hurt to look 35 when you're 41, does it?

I believe that they have reformulated this, since my jar is called Line and Wrinkle Corrector and the product is white, not beige as shown in Avon's photos (it is now called Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Wrinkle Corrector). However, the reviews on avon.com for the current product confirm my wonderful results ... and knowing Avon, the formulation is just getting better and better. They really do know their skin care and wrinkle correction!

Wrinkle Corrector comes in a squat jar and for the first week, you can just dab the cream off of the lid liner : ) The 1.7 size lasts me about 6 months, using it twice a day (sometimes 3 or 4 times a day). When I got to the end of my first jar, I didn't have any trouble getting every last bit out, even under the rim.

It is a nice mid-weight cream, unscented. You only need dab your fingertip into the jar slightly, and that little amount will do both eyes nicely (any leftover, I dab on my forehead or laugh lines. I love to think and laugh, but who needs lines??). This product glides right on, and is instantly absorbed -- you can move right on to moisturizer or just head out. It doesn't feel greasy, heavy, or otherwise weird - just slides on easily and then poof, it's gone and going to work!

Retail is $32 a jar (worth it, worth it! Not that I ever pay retail) and Avon is good about putting things on special or offering free coupon codes (check retailmenot.com for current coupon codes, and click-through to Avon via ebates.com or cashbaq.com, if you are a savings fanatic like me). Currently, Avon has this on sale for $26.99 a jar, and ebay prices are $16 and up.

I bought 3 jars of the previous formulation (Line and Wrinkle Corrector) at the $12 price, 2 for me and one for my sis, and have just cracked open the second jar. Alas, my Avon distributor doesn't have that same special available now, but even at full price, this is a great value. And the truth is, I *will* pay full price for this one if I have to, because my medicine cabinet will not be without this item -- ever! I highly and GLOWINGLY recommend this product to any women wanting fast, long-lasting results and a quality product!
