I do not like hairspray. I have very fine flyaway hair that could most certainly use hairspray, but I just don't like wearing it. When I think of hairspray, hairspray of any kind, any brand-I think of really stiff hair that doesn't, move and that is really unpleasant and crispy to the touch. Of all the things I've reviewed on Epinions, I've never reviewed hairspray, until now.

My mom wears hairspray of some kind everyday. Recently she's been into braiding my hair into a fishtail braid, now that it's long enough for it. My hair is straight, fine and with no effort turns into a mess. Hairspray helps keep my hairstyle last all day and night, the one I'm reviewing today anyway.

TIGI BED HEAD Hard Head Hairspray comes packaged in a silver aerosol spray bottle holding 10 ounces of product. The lid is a clear plastic one. I have the trial size version, which is exactly the same as the full size but instead holds 3 ounces of product.

After my hair is braided it IMMEDIATELY needs to get a spray down or it will fall apart instantly, especially where my bangs are growing out. This hairspray distributes a very nice and fine mist. It has a fairly typical salon like scent to it, nothing particularly exciting or awful. I really don't mind it. Actually I prefer the way this smells, to if it were floral or fruity scented.

TIGI recommends to spray 10 - 12 inches away from the head, I spray much closer then that. I also spray a little extra around the front of my head as that is where my flyaways are. This spray dries and sets very quickly. It leaves my hair crunchy and stiff, but then when I want to unbraid my hair and brush it out, I can do so with no problem. What I like the most is that it isn't obvious I'm wearing hairspray unless my hair is touched. I don't like touching crispy stiff hair, but I do like my style staying in place. Also another thing that makes me happy about this hairspray is that it never, ever flakes and leaves disgusting residue in my hair.
