BeneFit Dandelion (IB83)
Ah, Benefit Powder Boxes. Cryptonite for those who may be suckers for packaging. I wanted one the first time I saw them, before I even knew what was inside. The boxes are just that freakin' adorable. It wasn't so much a question of will I buy one, but which one will I buy?
I narrowed it down to Coralista, a warm coral, and Dandelion, a pale pink. Dandelion won, because the tiny green box with a pink dandelion was so charming. I knew I would feel continual, small thrill every time I see it on my table. And I do. That small pleasure alone is worth something to me, but lucky for me, the product is as good as the box.
Product
Dandelion is a pale baby pink of finely milled, silky powder. It is not a loose powder; the product is pressed tight at the bottom of the box. It may initially seem like the box is mostly empty. However, it weighs in at 10 grams, which is almost twice as much as a full sized blush from similarly priced prestige brands (Lancome ~5g, NARS ~4g, Smashbox ~6g). So it's actually quite a bargain if you love the color. It smells divine, and definitely ranks in quality with high end blushes and powders.
The Brush
It comes with it's own brush that is soft, and actually works quite well. The powder is at the bottom of the box, and the brush sits in a tray on top of it, for a compact little package. It is a little awkward to get your own bigger blush brushes in the box to the product. A medium blush brush works fine.
Color
Dandelion is listed as a "luminizer", but I use it as a blush on my very fair complexion. It's a very pale pink with a very slight shimmer to it. There is not a hint of warmth in it. It's very subtle, even on fair skin tones, and can be used all over the face for a dewy, glowy look that is light and bright, not golden.
It's buildable if you have a darker skin tone, or want more color, but be warned, the shimmer will also build. If you have a medium or darker skin tone, it likely won't show up as a blush unless you build, but will work well as a natural looking, subtle highlighter. It pairs well with cool pinky blushes, and cool or neutral lipsticks.
Worth it?
For me, yes. It's a good amount of quality product for the price. I don't think I will travel well, as the square box would be awkward and bulky, and get tattered, so I wouldn't recommend it as a main blush. But it makes a lovely showpiece sitting on a dresser. I am repeatedly thrilled and plan to try the Coralista box soon to add to my little Benefit Box collection.
Benefit Dandelion-- A Radiant Pink Glow for Packaging Junkies

Pros: The adorable packaging is a joy; powder gives the skin a natural, pinky glow.
Cons: might be too light for medium or dark skin tones, can't travel easily
The Bottom Line:
Great for pale, cool complexions and cute packaging junkies. Great quality, and actually a bargain for the amount of product.
