fun and addicting, better than similar games

Pros: Hours upon hours of fun, challenging at times, doesn't get boring, great price!
Cons: Some of the games can get boring after, but most of them are still fun!
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend people buy this game, if they like these sorts of games or want to improve their brain!
I actually really like this game, it's one of my favorites! I own the other very similar game, Brain Age, and find this one to be a lot more fun. It has a lot of different games that you can do and unlike Brain Age you can play it as many times as you want in one day and it will score you each time. It gives you a score based on how well you play the minigames, and then gives you an example of what "type" of brain you have. For instance if you did better in the analyze categories it will tell you that you have a brain like someone who does alot of analyzing.
When you play the test part of the game you play 5 different mini games, which change each time you play. You get a certain amount of time to play each minigame to see how many problems you can "solve" in that time. There is one in each category: memorize, analyze, compute, think, and identify. Each category has 3 different games in it. For instance, in the compute category there is a minigame where it give you math problems, but it's written out in words instead of numbers (which makes it a little more challenging). So the top screen will say something like: five times twenty is, and on the bottom screen there is a number pad, so you use the stylus to type in 100. The problems get harder as you go along.
One of the minigames in the memorize category involves remembering sounds. On the top screen different numbers of animals, automobiles, etc.. will pop up and they each make a different noise. You have to remember the pattern of sounds (in what order and how many times) and then recreate them by tapping on each item on the bottom screen. Kind of like the old game Simple Simon. It usually starts out with 2 or 3 sounds at a time, and gets longer the further you go.
One of the minigames in the analyze category shows a shape on the top of the screen and you have to pick from alot of different pieces on the bottom screen to form the shape on top. Again, it gets harder the further along you go.
When you are done the test it calculates how well you did in each game and gives you a final number score. Then it gives you a letter grade and tells you what type of brain you have (i.e. a fashion designer, etc..).
When you play the practice games, you "get" a medal after depending on how well you do (bronze, silver, gold and if you do REALLY well, platinum). Some games, with some practice, it's not too hard to get the platinum, but some are quite hard. I've read some people on here think the game gets boring after awhile, but i have to disagree. Both my boyfriend and I play this game constantly for months on end and still haven't gotten sick of it (it's the only DS game we're not sick of!).
The game is really easy to play as far as the controls and moving around throughout the game and the graphics and sounds are quite simple, 2D shapes/animals/numbers/etc... and single tone sounds, along with some pleasant background music.
There are a couple of the games that I don't really like on it, but I think it's just a preference thing. Some I like better than others, probably because I'm better at them. If you like similar games like Brain Age, you will like this one, I promise! :)
