The Bottom Line:
Buy a top of the range CD/DVD/DVD-A/SACD player to complement this excellent system.
Delightfully easy to set up. Even easier to place the components and speakers. Excellent soundstage with superb clarity, transparency, dynamics and warmth.
The handheld remote or "Personal Music Center" is a gem.
Expect to pay substantially more for this system in another format. Much more!
If your space is limited, then there is no other choice available with the same characteristics.
It may be simplistic to say, but to my ear (tested by audiogram) the Bose system allows the listener to hear movies and recordings much as the artist and/or producer intended.
The electronic circuitry called allows 5:1 sound from any source. It excels with CDs such as the JVC XRCD products. The audiophile is left at a loss justifying paying much more for similar results!
