I played a lot of racing games but this is the best game ever. This game is a fast paced racer. It has multiple modes, which makes the game more interesting. There are different levels from 1-10 where the player earns stars to increase his/her rank. The level system is very good since the harder levels are no accessible till the player gets good at the earlier levels. The later levels are a challenge due to higher goals. The later levels also give you crazier cars. The modes include race, road rage, and crash. Crash is the best since you try to make the biggest crash ever. It requires a strategy as well as a plan to make sure you have enough money to get the gold medal. The multiplayer is another good part of the game. When you have friends over, just randomly pop in the game and run through all the modes. Your friends will be hooked with the game. The graphics is amazing. However, after playing for a couple hours, the game seems like a blur. The fast speed action when boosting is a problem for the eyes to comprehend after a while. The controller scheme is good for the PS2. Overall, this game is amazing.
