Milk & Honey Body Lotion: I Like It More Then I Expected To

I always need some kind of moisturizer with me. I recently purchased a little bottle of Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion so I can have it with me on the go. I really like Burt's Bees products and this one is not one of their newer ones, and I wish I tried it years ago.

Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion comes in a rounded yellow plastic bottle holding 8 ounces of product. On the front of the bottle is a picture of a cow, because the milk in this lotion is pure cow milk. The lid is a white screw on lid. My bottle is exactly the same except that it holds 1 ounce of lotion.

The lotion its self is pale yellow of medium texture and is very runny, now I have the small bottle with a very wide opening so the lotion easily pours out, I think the larger bottle has either a smaller hole for the lotion to come out of or a pump dispenser. But I'm not entirely sure.

Although this is a runny lotion it is still very creamy and milky in texture. It easily absorbs into my skin effortlessly and leaves it silky smooth and soft. This isn't the greatest moisturizer for healing and moisturizing very dry and cracked skin but it does the basic job of moisturizing normal skin pretty well.

At first I wasn't really into this scent, but I've grown to really like it now. This is a honey scent, but it's not as sweet and tacky as real honey, since it is blended in with milk it is creamier. I really like this combination. It is also a very soothing and calming scent. The scent doesn't last on the skin very long at all, about five minutes after application.

Ingredients: water, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, glycerin, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, stearic acid, beeswax, fragrance, non-fat dry milk, honey, tocopherol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel wax, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, beta-carotene, vegetable oil, glucose, xanthan gum, sucrose stearate, sodium borate, glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase

I like this lotion it isn't my favourite and it isn't the greatest now that the winter is on the way. But I like it for the moisturizing properties, the texture and the honey scent. It is according to Burt's Bees 98.2% Natural.
