Finally I have found THE perfume

Pros: A beautifully balanced perfume that is simply irresistible.

Cons: Bulky and butch looking bottle that squirts rather than sprays, and not great staying power.

The Bottom Line: 
If you like Poison you will find this to be a bit insipid, but if you like more subtle feminine perfumes, this is the one for you.

Let me start by telling you that I am scent sensitive. Unfortunate but true. I can't walk into a perfume shop as it is a recipe for an instant migraine. I have had to ask colleagues at work not to wear a scent because it gave me a pounding headache.

So as you can imagine, trying to find a perfume I can wear is rather a challenge. (you might wonder why I would bother at all, but doesn't every woman like to be able to wear a scent for a special occasion) Friends would go into shops and bring me out a perfume scented stick. I would be given samples when I bought makeup, which I could then take out into a wide open space to sniff. Finally, having experienced a wide range of perfumes (and oh boy aren't some vile!) I was given a sample of Omnia.

You know, I can still remember that first sniff. I sprayed the sample on to a piece of paper and gingerly raised it to my nose. The scent filled my nostrils... spicy and yet somehow cool, with a strong sandalwood base note.

I was delighted to find that the only headspin I experienced was of pleasure at the lovely scent. As the perfume settles, the muskier notes peek out, like a shy coquette peeking out from her fan. Because of the spice and sandalwood notes, perhaps it could be argued that it is a bit of a hippy perfume, but the subtle qualities of the other ingredients very clearly place this with the grownup scents. I fell in love on the spot and rushed to buy a bottle.

To be truthful when I got to the shop I found the bottle very off-putting. For me the shape is unattractive, and its blunt modern style seems to me to clash with the femininity of the perfume inside. But the bottle was not going to put me off buying it - not when I had finally found MY perfume. I bought a large bottle for home, a small one for work, and some of the scented lotion as a special treat for myself.

I have never regretted the purchases and have found this perfume to be sensual, subtle and sublime.

Although you might think it a bit too 'girly' for work, it is light enough that it will simply whisper in your ear, rather than shout your presence down the hallways!
