This is one of the best camera choices I've ever made! I've had a SD500 prior to the SD3500 and because the SD500 quality was starting to wear out (it never really took good photos anyway), I kind of lost hope in buying another Canon camera.

To be honest, I was amused with the touch-screen idea. But it's not just a touch-screen camera; it's quality, choices, and wide screen! I am very satisfied with the quality of the photos of this camera. Unlike the SD500,  they are very clear and don't have the blur when you zoom in the photos. It's also easier to sort through the photos you're looking for. No more pressing up the up button 6 times per page, just swipe down and ta-da!
