Not the best personal printer

The is a decent product is you just need an inexpensive printer that will not be heavily used.

I received the Canon Pixma iP3600 last Christmas as a gift. I believe my mother purchased it from Wal-Mart and I actually use it for regular printing and not for photo printing. It was the only printer they had that was under $70 and believe they may be a bit cheaper now. 

The printer has a sleek and attractive appearance but does seem to attract dust particles quickly even after cleaning.

I originally used it to print resumes and it prints fairly quickly as long as I don't print in color; however, I noticed paper seems to get hung in it alot. When this happens the printing ends up crooked. So I would often have to re-print items.

The printer came with photo paper but I have yet to use this. Lately, i've been experiencing alot of printing errors and this becomes so frustrating I rarely use the printer anymore. I haven't tried to use this for photo printing yet but I honestly couldn't imagine trying this with the problems I've had trying to use this product for regular print items and also it seems the ink jet moves slow when printing in color....Maybe this could be user error but either way I usually avoid printing at home unless necessary.
