Affordable but not a great camcorder

I am a huge Canon fan and when saw this camcorder in the market could not resist from buying one. Apart from the Canon make, the thing which attracted me to buy this was its reasonable price. Its quite cheap than what’s available in the market. However, despite I being Canons big fan, I didn't like this camcorder in terms of its performance.
Here are the few reasons which I would like to mention here:
1. The video quality not great, I think my digital camera does a better job than this one.
2. The video turn out darker on TV or computer as compared to on the camcorder's LCD
3. The mini DVDs can make video for 30 minutes only and then you need to put the new DVD, I think its kind of wastage of money as you end up purchasing too many DVDs. Also, what if you want to record for more than 30 minutes and don't have time to change the DVD in the middle of recording
4. The joy stick feature is not easy to use....it drove me crazy; it gets stuck in between usage
5. The software is not easy to use.

However, few good things about this camcorder are:
1. Its a good buy for someone who is not into too much details of video quality. This is a very reasonable price for a camcorder
2. It fits easily in the hand
3. It’s a very quite camcorder, no noise
4. Audio quality is quite good

It also has option to take still picture, but have not tried that so can't comment on it.
Consumers who are looking for great video quality then this product is not for you.
