I received the Canon Rebel T1i as a gift. To be honest, I wasn't in the market for a new camera. I was perfectly happy with my low end point and shoot camera, that is until I started taking pictures with my T1i. For starters, it's really easy to use. You can take your pictures on Auto mode, but I prefer Manual after playing around with it for a while. There is a flash you can use for indoor photos but outdoor and none flash photos come out the best on this camera. I also bought a 50-250mm lens which gives amazing zoom options and clarity for pictures. The images come out clear and crisp. I highly recommend this camera to anyone in the market for a Digital SLR camera who wants to learn about taking amazing clear photos and actually cares about the photo quality. I am ready to upgrade both my flash and will most likely pick up another lens to give more options to my pictures.
