This camera is wonderful for everyday use.  Works well outside, inside, at the beach and for all occasions.  There are even settings for many events...even Aquarium and Fireworks.  This canon maximizes picturesque opportunities.  I have had it for about 3 years now and it still works as well as the first day I got it.  The battery life is also a great asset, and the rechargeable option saves so much money in the long run.  Instead of buying countless double A batteries, I am able to plug it into the wall and wait about an hour for my camera to be ready for a couple full days of picture-taking.  For someone like me who is constantly documenting every facet of my life, its size is ideal and everyone who uses it is amazed at its accuracy and ability to capture high-quality photos.  I used to attend an art school and even when competing with the SLR cameras, my Canon's pictures remained competitive.  Over any other brand, I have known Canon to have the longest camera life and continued success.  I can take close up macro shots of textures, eyes, insects, and so many other natural aspects I discover everyday.  A wonderful camera for indoor and outdoor activities.  Also, the video quality leaves nothing to be desired and creates lasting memories that my friends and I have continued to enjoy. I love my Canon! And you should definitely consider making this great investment for all of your needs. Photos come out great when printing them as well! My favorite point and shoot!
