Cons: It's limiting to only have one lens and to shoot macro
I own a canon SLR camera and I actually bought this one for my father as a birth day present. When I went abroad it was quite rainy so I took this powershot camera instead of carrying my entire photography kit and risk wetting my lenses.In the past I used tu snub pocket cameras and was quite worried about hte quality of my photos but like I wrote in the title - I was very pleasantly surprised. The photos I took look great and don't fall short of the more "proffesional" ones I usually take. I am now considering buying this camera for myself as an added tool in my photography arsenal.
