If you can find the GWP size, get it! It's the best mascara I have ever used.
I initially tried Clinique High Impact Mascara in a gift with purchase trial size, and it immediately became my holy grail mascara. It basically makes me look like I was born with fabulous dark, thick, long lashes, without looking like I am wearing mascara at all, if that’s possible. Aside from that (obviously extremely important) fact, Clinique High Impact Mascara also has other great features from the wearability standpoint: it never irritates my contacts, it never flakes, and it washes off easily with warm water. This last thing does mean that it can run if you cry or are in really humid weather, but I like to be able to get my mascara off without loosing too any eyelashes, so it is a plus for me. The weirdest thing about this mascara, though, is that in the Gift With Purchase size, it never clumped on my lashes and was easy to make look perfect with one coat, but when I bought the full retail size, I noticed that it clumped way more and was just generally unruly. The brush is also large, and I liked the control I got from the shorter handle in the GWP size as opposed to the full length size.
