Thank You, Clinique, For Making My Eyes Stop Itching!

Pros: long lasting, affordable, doesn't irritate eyes!
Cons: none
The Bottom Line:
Clinique's High Impact Mascara is an excellent choice for mascara users who have suffered from itchy, irritated eyes in the past.
Mascara makes my eyes itch.
Seriously.
You'd think that with all the eye makeup I wear (concealer, tons of eye shadow, and plenty of eyeliner), mascara would be the LEAST of my eye problems.
Nope.
Every time I wear mascara, I turn into an itchy, watery-eyed mess.
Ugh.
Mascara HATES me, I swear...or so I thought, until I discovered Clinique's High Impact Mascara. My friend (who is allergic to everything) recommended it, so I decided to try it out-and I'm so glad that I did!
It's totally worth the $14 plus tax that I spend every time I buy it-plus the Clinique ladies are always so friendly and helpful, so I love going up there to see them.
But I digress...so back to the mascara: I LOVE IT!
I have a friend who uses the same mascara and used to always whine that HER lashes didn't look like mine- she'd swear that I must have gotten extensions at our favorite salon or glued on some false lashes. She was wrong. Just to prove my point, I'm going to give you the same advice that I gave her: the secret to beautiful lashes is applying your Clinique mascara properly!
Next time you're primping in front of the bathroom mirror, fretting about how your lashes aren't thick enough, try this simple trick: zigzag your wand. Maybe I have OCD, but I have an entire routine when it comes to applying mascara (and this only takes me a minute, so don't be discouraged by the long description). I like to do my top lashes in 3 separate parts, zigzagging (moving from right to left or left to right)the wand across each section, then re-dipping the wand before I do the next section. I start at the outer corner of my eye, followed by the middle, and then finish with the lashes closest to my nose. Then, without re-dipping the wand, I apply mascara to my bottom lashes. And then-TA DA!-thick, luscious lashes. Try it!
