Pros: Sound quality-ear buds-Creative Centrale.
Cons: MINISCULE buttons. Operating Manual.
The Bottom Line:
Would buy again-wd like GOOD manual.
Player is stylish....but VERY SMALL! All the buttons & controls are MINISCULE & difficult for one with large fingers to hit correctly. But this negative issue is compensated by the truly great sound and the many feautes (radio, video, recorder & music capabilities) the player has. The tiny ear plugs are surprisingly comfortable & the sound is quite good using this included headphone set. The other negative aspect that really is a PAIN is the Operating Manual and Help Screens that are only available on-line and must be printed off. I really don't know why a good Operating Manual cannot be included in the purchase of a $200 gadget! However, the real complaint that I have of the Operating Manual is how poorly it is written!!! It was written by someone who has a VERY LIMITED grasp of the English language and has no skill in writing technical manuals. If I had not already had some knowledge of an MP3 player it would have been almost impossible to get up and running. REALLY? Who wrote the Operating Manual? I would give the Operating Manual a "D". With that negative issue out of the way, I do want to compliment the creators of Creative Centrale. It is extremely easy to use. I had no trouble with this software and it was a breeze to get all my music and videos installed on the MP3 player in a matter of a few hours. The other complaint that I have is minor and not an issue of the player itself. But involves the 2-year extended warranty I purchased when buying the player. No where on the website did it say that the extended warranty would be shipped approx. a month later - I had to call to find this out. It would have been helpful to know this up front. I would definitely purchase it again.
