Pros: Like the styling, chrome and dials
Cons: Does not perform as a modern automatic toaster should
Selected this toaster for its traditional look to coordinate with our kitchen but soon found none of the four slots browned both sides of the toast evenly.
We've replaced the item three times under guarantee all with the same result: the elements around the middle two bars run much cooler...the technique needed to get properly toasted bread is to interrupt the cycle mid-way and flip the bread over.
It's a bit like using an old-fashioned grill again..traditional styling with traditional operation!
