We bought this toaster to replace one of several cheap toasters ($25-$30) we've been through during the past few years. We hoped that spending a few extra dollars (around $50) would pay off in the long run by giving us a toaster that would last more than a year or two. We were wrong. Both sides of toaster stopped working within 4 months. The first thing to go were the bagel functions - wouldn't heat after a few months. Then the normal toasting function stopped working too after another month. Huge waste of money!
