Awesome game

Pros: graphics, gameplay, atmosphere, story
Cons: silent protagonist, not very long, little replay value, no multiplayer
I decided to buy this game because of the good reviews its getting and when I did I wasn't disappointed.
THE STORY: You play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer investigating the mining ship USG Ishimura. Not long after boarding he finds out that almost all the crew are dead and the ship is infested with hostile aliens known as necromorphs. His main objectives are to search the ship for his missing girlfriend, and make it out alive. That pretty much sums it up.
THE WEAPONS: Most weapons in this game aren't guns but mining tools that make useful wepons against the necromorphs. The only way to kill a necromorph is dismemberment so aim for the head, or if they're running at you fast shoot the legs and arms.
It's a great game, and is full of scares and surprises but as you play the game gets a little less scary because you start to know where the aliens will pop out. I highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of 3rd person science fiction/horror games that are full of blood and gore like me.
