It does suck!

Pros: It has powerful suction and it shoots out clean air from the exhaust.
Cons: None yet.
The Bottom Line:
This is the top dog of all vacuums!
And it sucks in a great way! We have an English Mastiff weighing in at 200 pounds and loves to lay out and shed on our floors. Need I say more? I personally like canister vacuums instead of uprights. We had received the Bissell Digital Pro vacuum thinking that it would be great for the pooch. Little did I know..The pet odor gets trapped inside the vacuum and I would have that dog smell whenever I vacuum. I even bought the carpet deodorizers specifically for pets and it was terrible.. Then, for some odd reason everything was flowing outside of the bag and onto the vacuum itself shooting out the dirt.. that's when I decided, time for a new vacuum. Of course this happened exactly a few months after the 1 year product warranty expired..
I researched and got many great reviews by friends who own Dyson, so I bought the canister and I love love love it! It's amazing to see how much the vacuum actually collects while vacuuming. You really have that feeling that vacuuming was accomplished.
Some reviews stated that it's heavy, I find it to weigh the same as the Bissell that I own and the Electrolux that my mom owns. The attachments that come with this vacuum is excellent - floor attachment for hardwood/linoleum/tiles, etc and the vacuum piece for carpets, plus 3 other attachments.
The hose is long and can kink up.. I got the hang of it after a couple of uses. Also, it took me a bit to keep the tube (i don't know what to call it) from sliding, but I figured it out that once it clicks, its locked into place (this is the piece connecting the floor attachment to the handle). Clean up is quick and easy.
Can't beat the 5 year warranty (unlike my disaster with the 1 year warranty vacuum). Assembly is super easy and attaching and detaching the attachments couldn't get easier! With my old vacuum, it was a chore to unplug and plug the carpet piece, with Dyson, it's a breeze!
A complaint that I did read is about the length of the cord. Easy resolution: extension cord. I haven't found need for one yet since I live in a 2 bedroom apt, the cord is long enough to vacuum 2 rooms with no hassle. Don't let the size of the cord throw you off.
I've never been excited about a vacuum as much as this one. I've owned the vacuum for 4 months now and have no complaints.
