Earth, 2019: On a remote island, an US science team makes a frightening discovery. The North Korean Government quickly seals off the island chain. Contact with the science team is lost. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of Delta Force Operators to recon the situation and report back to the Pentagon. Amid rising tensions between the US and North Koreans, a massive, 2km high alien ship is revealed in the middle of the island. Pros: Excellent graphics, interactive environment, good story with great cinematic, realistic weapons
Cons: Very demanding ... especially CPU & GPU, stereotypical enemy (Koreans) acting, average shooter gameplay
Bottom Line:
A strong candidate for Game of the Year, but at least a nearly perfect shooter with some of the most amazing visuals.

Pros: If you've got a $2500 Supercomputer with a 22"monitor, Crysis will blow you away.
Cons: Affording the hardware neccesary might require you to sell your family into slavery.
Bottom Line:
Crysis reminds me why I stopped playing PC games. UPGRADES SUCK. But if you've got the Cash, you'll find Crysis a fully detailed, lush environment with a Cliffhanger ending.
