I have been using this awesome product since I was 18 in 1979. I asked someone what they used, and it was this foundation. I immediately bought my own compact when I went off to college. Yes, it was expensive, but my skin looked glowing and flawless, hence its name! ALSO, it felt dewey without feeling/looking greasy. AND it even cleared up my complexion--I really believe this! Every time I tried another CHEAPER foundation or ANY other foundation, my face broke out, my makeup looked caked on (and I don't have any breakouts ever), and I always had a line at my jaw (I am VERY fair and use Truly Beige).

If I use this foundation (and as I said, I've tried to go cheaper, but it NEVER works out), I get compliments on my GLOWING, HEALTHY skin--my face clears up immediately and seems to GLOW from within ( I NEVER get breakouts with it), and it looks VERY NATURAL.

Perhaps the reason for its success is that it contains petrolatum, which is a form of vaseline petroleum jelly. It's very soothing on my face, and no other makeup I know contains it. It is just the BEST EVER foundation in the WORLD!

I was actually peeved when I read Paul what's her name's review in her makeup books (Don't Go to the Makeup Counter Without Me, or whatever)--she gave it a negative review, but it's the ONLY thing negative I EVER heard about it! Believe the 4 reports here--it's the BEST you'll ever buy--and the more water you use on the sponge, the lighter coverage, and vice versa. It's simply amazing.

My cousin also buys it--after trying cheaper brands, she ALWAYS goes back! Anyway, the compact lasts about 4-6 months, so it's truly worth it. I buy it around the time of the GWP deals so I can get the free goodies.
