Pros: Nice color, good interface, good when it worked, but there were always problems
Cons: Unreliable, clogs, sucksup ink, Terrible black&white quality-neutrals swing green/purple Ink is outrageously expensive.
I would not recommend this especially if you have deadlines. I am a textile designer and need good color and detail. I always relied on my Epson 1280 to give me this. Lots of stress and problems trying to constantly fix problems with this 1400. I wanted to support Epson but it is too much trouble getting this to work. Epson brought this out as the replacement to the 1280. I will never buy another Epson. It is just an engineering quality issue. They released this one without working out the problems. This was replaced 3 times, each with a refurbished printer worse than the one it was to replace
