Proprietary arm bands are used to track body movement through colour recognition, as players control the on-screen characters in steering, speed, and trick maneuvers, while avoiding obstacles in the game environment. From a choice of eight playable characters with differing stats, gamers will race across eight different courses of diversified terrain, grinding rails and getting big air to perform tricks. Race against AI-controlled characters, or a "ghost image" of a previously recorded top performance. Also featuring an interactive soundtrack, that changes according to actions performed. Gear upgrades can be won throughout the game, by competing in competitions. Minimize

Antigrav for PS2

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Great extras, really cool controls.

Cons: Takes 15 minutes to learn controls.

The Bottom Line:
This is an excellent game. But i must warn you. You look pretty goofy if people walk in on you and they don't know your playing.

What the Eyetoy is: It's a small camera you plug into your playstation 2. They you can use your body as the controller. This camera tracks your body movement and applys it into the game. So if you jump the character jumps. If you duck the character does. Move your arms, so does the character, ect...

What you do in this game: In this game you are on a hoverboard. You can choose to play one of two ways. You can either race otehrs, or you can go for a high score run.

Hello, my name is Alan and i recently purchased Antigav for PS2. I started it up and found myself struggling to control it. That was well I was in training mode. About 15 minutes later I was through training mode and I could control it just as easily as it would be having a controller. It's really a great game. When you jump he jumps, when you duck he ducks. Well I shouldn't say he. There are a bunch of characters. Also some hidden ones you can unlock. The coolest part is that each character has its own attitude. So you can select the one that fits your attitude. Then when you find the character you like you can upgrade them as you win races. You can win them news wings, which increases there speed. Wherever you put your arms the character in the game does. You use this to grab these things when your on rails. If you grab all of the blue ones, red ones, or yellow ones in a row you gain speed in race mode, or you gain points in Trick mode. It's really a lot of fun. They also mixed in a lot of great tricks. Like when you get air you can do tricks by using body movement and hand movement. You'll learn to have your favorite trick. I usually do as many back flip as possible. I really love this game. But maybe it's because I am a skateboarder. I suggest it to anyone out there. There are so many beatiful levels to run through. You can tell they spent a long time working on the graphics of this game They also included lots of extras you can earn like new boards. The levels are so large and the graphics are just so fine. You get to race through futuristic cities. Also through water ports, and a city that is floating in the air. You get mass air there! It just feels so realistic with the crisp graphics, controlling it with your body, and the sound. When you pass a car or jump onto a grind rail you know it. You can hear it! It's even more exciting if you have surround sound. Oh, I forgot to mention. There are parts in the game where you can fly on your hoverboard (If you choose to) To fly you just go over the launch pad. then you gotta fly through rings. You steer using the movement of your head. If you get in the ring you get speed, if you get in the center you really fly! When you buy this you must be willing to devote 15 to training. But once you learn how to control it I think you'll love it. Have fun, and enjoy.

I also forgot to mention, each level has several different ways to get to the finish line. so each time you play a level you can go a different way. but you'll find your favorite ways.
