Excellent Stroller

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: easy to maneuver, seat faces both ways, bassinet option.

Cons: Smaller storage, large frame.

The Bottom Line:
Great buy and easy to use. Definitely recommend it.

This is an excellent alternative to the Bugaboo. It operates the same way (especially if you have the 2007 model) and it's much cheaper.

Stroller and Seat: The stroller is easy to maneuver over smooth and bumpy surfaces. I like the fact that the height of the push bar can be adjusted, or even folded inwards to fit in small areas. It is easy to open, although I find the latch to lock it is not very tight. It can come loose on its own. The frame is a little big but it is light. I also like the fact that you can put the seat facing you, or facing outwards. The 2006 model adjusts to 3 recline positions with snaps. The 2007 model is even easier with the push buttons on either side. Storage isn't as big as some of the other strollers, but I find that there is plenty of space for a few grocery bags.

Bassinet: We also got the optional bassinet with the stroller and used it for the first 3 months. We used it for naps in the house, and for when we went out - highly recommended if you don't have a cradle or bassinet at home for the baby.

Car seat: You can also get a Graco or Peg Perego car seat adaptor with it. We used it with our Graco and it's proved to be very convenient since I don't need to put the stroller seat in the trunk when I go out.

Overall, this was a great buy and I would highly recommend the First Wheels City Elite.
