Thoroughly recommend this system. It looks great, it easy to use with clever design features, comes in loads of different colours and best of all, not everybody has one!
As a first timer, I found the process of buying a pram / travel system / pushchair / stroller a nightmare; not least because there's so many words for what is basically the same thing - a means of wheeling your baby around! Myself and my husband thought that if we bought the most expensive then that would surely be the way to go, as it would obviously be best. In the end we DIDN'T go with the most expensive (which was the Bugaboo, at that time - about Oct 05) and I am so pleased we ended up with the First Wheels.
To be fair, I'd pretty much describe this travel system as a Bugaboo "rip-off"! It has the basic chassis and then all the components that you attach, e.g. carrycot, car seat (with adaptors) and main seat that has 3 recline positions. The chassis itself is SO nippy - light, spins on a sixpence and very comfortable to push as it "freewheels" well. Being tall, I especially wanted an adjustable handle, and this feature is great. The shopping basket isn't massive but I don't struggle, its adequate. Its easy to put up and down, and it looks fab. It has that modern, trendy look that other mums look twice at as you stroll by!
Its a fraction of the price of a Bugaboo yet has very similar features and all the style. I've been using mine for 6 months now and I honestly don't have a bad word to say about it.
One point, though this is not a fault, but merely a feature of the design. Before you buy a chassis style system (upon which you clip the various carriers / seats) ask whether you're going to want to take this on aeroplanes a lot, because if you are, you have to collapse the chassis and the seat and put both in the hold. Obviously other, more traditional, style systems have the seat integrated into the folded up pushchair so are "all in one".
There weren't any reviews on First Wheels when we bought ours so I vowed I would write one once I had thoroughly test driven. Top marks from me - can't fault it! A super buy.
