Pros: Heats up in 30 seconds and automatically adjusts temperature based on hairs density.
Cons: A velcro cord keeper would have been nice to use while storing.
The Bottom Line:
Stop wasting your time comparing flat irons and buy this one, you won't regret it!
This flat iron is hands down the best I've ever used and I've been through 3 CHI's along with a few others. It's well built, heats up in seconds and cuts the time I spend on my hair in half. It also has an excellent warranty which makes it worth the money spent. I have naturally wavy, rough textured hair and this iron leaves it silky smooth. I really like that the iron automatically adjusts it's temperature based on your hairs density so you don't need to worry about burning thin hair or having to use more strokes on thick hair. The ceramic plates allow for side to side movement which makes it very easy to create soft waves without the kinks that other irons leave.
Personally, I found that the price was moeny well spent. Yes, it's one of the more expensive irons but after going through a 3 CHIs which all broke on me and trying to deal with horrible customer service, this product is worth every cent I spent. If you buy this iron from a reputable source (salon, salon supplier, NOT an internet company) then it has a wonderful warranty. I could run over it with my car and they will replace it for one year- no questions asked.
With my old flat irons It took me 30-40 mintues to straighten my Long (well below the shoulder) curly hair. With this iron it takes me 15 minutes tops. My time is valuable and that in itself was worth the price!
Trust me when I say this is the last flat iron you will ever purchase- it's just that good.
