The 265W has quite a bland design, but it is compact and slim. This is also true of the window mount, which is small and easy to remove; a benefit should you use the unit in multiple vehicles. A power slide key is the only button on the unit; operation focuses entirely on the touch screen. An SD card slot allows extra maps or other data to be uploaded, and a regular mini-USB connection handles charging and synchronising.

Acceptable but sometimes annoying

Pros: Big screen
Blue Tooth
Traffic Updates
Cons: Slow recalculation
The menu is not not handy (read review)
The Bottom Line:
I would get this product if it is on sale/have coupons. But I wouldn't buy it full price.
I bought this product to replace the Mio GPS I bought several years ago for $99. I wanted to upgrade it and the fact I had coupons it felt like the right time. I'm not going to list all its descriptions. I'm sure you can find all its capabilities. I'm just going to list my experiences with it and based on the Mio I previously had.
LOVES:
1. The widescreen is big about 4.3 inches. My Mio was probably 2.5 inches.
2. Touch Screen
3. Voice Directions reads out the Street Names
4. Free Traffic Updates - the cigarette lighter attachment has the FM transmitter if there are traffic updates.
5. Blue Tooth - nice that I can use it as a speaker phone for my cellphone
6. Qwerty keyboard
7. SD slot
8. Volume quality is acceptable.
9. Charging options - they only provide the car charger but at least it is USB so I can always charge it using my computer and it is not propriety cable
HATES:
1. Slow recalculating time - When I don't follow the directions and it recalculates, it feels about 5 - 10 seconds slower than my Mio recalculation.
2. Satellites doesn't feel powerful.
3. There is ads when you use their free traffic updates BUT it doesn't really annoy me that much. Just thought I'd mention it. I'd rather have the ads than pay for the traffic updates.
4. You have to go to the menu to access volume. This is SO annoying to me. In my Mio the Volume Icon was right there. You could just press it to mute. If I'm driving, who wants to be going inside the menu?
5. The searching capabilities of places/POINTS OF INTEREST is slow. The Mio seemed much faster.
6. Whenever I charge it, cigarette lighter or wall unit the display device will turn on. I keep sliding it to off.
7. When the battery is low it doesn't warn me. It just turns off. Once time I thought something was wrong with it. Turns out, duh, battery needed charging.
