The 265W has quite a bland design, but it is compact and slim. This is also true of the window mount, which is small and easy to remove; a benefit should you use the unit in multiple vehicles. A power slide key is the only button on the unit; operation focuses entirely on the touch screen. An SD card slot allows extra maps or other data to be uploaded, and a regular mini-USB connection handles charging and synchronising.

Pros: Good display, clear voice commands.
Cons: Ocvcasional poor routing.
This is my first GPS unit and overall I am satisfied with it. Display is clear and easy to follow, and voice commands are loud and clear. The unit quickly picks up satellite connections, and onscreen menu is generally easy to use.
The only real problem is occasional use of routes that are nor the fastest or best planned, and there is no mechanismm to swlect an alternate. This requires that you check a map in advance to have a general idea where you are going.
