Pros: Ton's of fun to play and watch, great for large groups or on your own.

Cons: If you're musically challenged like me, it takes a while to get used to.

"It's just a guitar game, no harm in playing just ONE game" I said . . . 5 hours later, the beginnings of carpal tunnel, and an obsession with beating the game on easy mode, I was hooked!

I'd played Guitar Hero 1 a couple of times before, but given the fact I have next to no musical ability, I played horribly, even on easy mode. So when I picked up Guitar Hero 2 at Best Buy, I figured it would mostly be for the sake of having "the ultimate party game" around when friends came by. After all, it is a great social game that is almost as much fun to watch as it is to play.

What I didn't know was that without the pressure of others around me watching as I botched note after note, I'd actually get into the game, and *gasp* begin to improve! I'm now working on Medium like a champ! haha.

If you've played guitar hero before, and enjoyed playing, but are like me, and have hardly any musical talent whatsoever and gave up after the second time playing, give the game another shot. It takes some time, but you'll be amazed that low and behold, after you start getting used to the game you begin improving and it becomes a lot of fun to play! Not to mention, next time you're at a party where everyone is playing Guitar Hero, you can hold your head high, pick up that guitar, and play like the rock star you are, even if it is on easy mode!
