Pros: They claim perfect blending with one touch.
Cons: I have not found this to be true.
The Bottom Line:
If all you are looking for is a blender, this one will do fine, but if you want smooth smoothies, keep looking.
Originally, I purchased another model of blender from Hamilton Beach, but it did not work properly. I contacted the company and they sent me this model as a replacement. When it arrived the base was broken. I know that is not the fault of the company. I contacted them again and told them the base was broken and asked for my money back. I was told they do not refund money, the only thing they can do is send me another one.
The Good:
1. Simply press button and let go.
2. Blender powers through a 45 second pre-programmed blending cycle.
3. Enjoy perfect shakes, smoothies, and frozen drinks.
This model has a "Ice Sabre" blades, powerful 550 watt motor, 18 speeds, a SureLoc safety base to keep it from tipping over, and extra-large 48 ounce glass jar. The lid is soft plastic and stays in place when blending. Cleaning of the glass jar is about the same as with any blender.
The Bad:
1. When you are crushing ice to make smoothies it leaves marble sized pieces of ice in the drink.
2. Customer service is not the best.
