Author's Review
The game was a lot different than any of the Harry Potter games I played. I got it because of my dedication to the video games/movie series. Unfortunately, the difference was a turn off and the game was all around difficult to follow. The beauty of the Harry Potter games was the open worlds to explore. This game did not have that.

Most people playing this series are looking forward to experiencing the magic of Harry Potter. This game did not offer the same experiences and enjoyable game play as the previous games. Any one who truly loved the games will be disappointed by the lack of freedom and exploration the game offers, which is basically none.

The best part of the game, however, was the ability to go back into previous levels and completely challenges one could not before. This allowed for the replaying of any preferred levels or puzzles. There were also a few interesting mini-games.

The mini games offered the increasing of skills and the ability to earn points needed to unlock the next levels. They could be played as many times as needed in order to progress throughout the game. But because of this, one could not feel a real challenge of game play. The hardest level I encountered wasn't until one of the final boss scenes with Voldemort. That was honestly the hardest part of the game, which is disappointing.
