A must have product for anyone that used Office. This new version is clear an concise, detailed and has many new options available for any type of task.

I purchased this product as an upgrade to Office 2003 after having a trial of it from the Microsoft website.

Microsoft Office 2007 has four of the same products from Office 2003, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. It also offers tool for Office. While it has the same concept of MS Office 2003, the whole program is just a bit better.

No longer are there drop down menus for each instruction, they now have tabs on each page, like in the older version, but when you click on each tab thy pop up with choices that are more detailed and clear. Some of the options even have pictures to help with the project or task you are looking for.

In MS Word, you can click the colored boxes on the top of the page and select Word options and it will bring up another window for you to make selections. When saving, you have the option to save as a 2007 document or as a 2003 document. Comes in handy when others do not have Office 2007. You also have the chance to personalize your copy of Office and select a language. There is also a new button called Proofing, located in the Word options window.

In Excel the layout is almost the same as Word, except it is in a spreadsheet. Again no more drop down windows to find what you are looking for. The top of the page has tabs and when you click on the tabs the layout is again clear and concise, as well as having pictures for help.
The right side of each page for Word and Excel has buttons for help. Again clicking on the colored boxes in Excel will bring up the options window.

In Powerpoint, the setup is the same for Word and Excel and offers new ways to present a slide. This has improved greatly from what is used to be. It now has animations that you can ad to your slide as well as sound.

Each product allows you to save to a disk if you wish by clicking the disk icon on top of every page. This concept is much better than the old way because it gets rid of the drop down menus, and adds pictures to the selections so that you don't have to search all over for what you want.

This is a must have product for anyone that used the old version!
