Pros: All-in-one
Cons: We're on our 3rd one in 6 months
The Bottom Line:
We would definitely not purchase again. We are on our 3rd one in six months.
We purchased the Officejet Pro L7780 in August, 2007 and used it for 13 days when the fax module failed. We returned that one to the store for replacement. The replacement worked for 5 months before the document feeder failed. After calling Customer Service in India and getting no satisfaction and not being able to be put through to a supervisor, we tried initiating a service order on-line, receiving no response. A week later we received an on-line survey about our experience with their service. Needless to say, I answered every one of their questions with "Dissatisfied". A few days later we received a call from the service rep. in India asking if the printer was working now. We told him no and he offered to send a reconditioned printer. We installed the replacement printer two days ago and it has its' own issues. All we wanted was the document feeder to be replaced, not a whole different printer with someone else's problems. We would definitely not purchase another one of these printers. They are very noisy and cheaply made, and it is very frustrating to deal with HP Customer Service. Next time we will look at a different manufacturer when we need to replace this replacement.
