HP C309A: probably a great product, if you can get it to work.

Pros: Several features that cover most (maybe all) home user needs.
Cons: Will be a source of frustration and emotional suffering.
In theory, this should be a great product for today's wireless homes. Not only it prints, scans and faxes, it also prints on CDs/DVDs. Plus, the scanner has an auto-feeder which is very convenient for scanning all those old prints you never get around scanning at a three-at-a-time rate. And what's best, it promisses to do all this wirelessly and networked: perfect for your home system. The drawback: it doesn't work.
Why?
Very (really, very) frequent connection loss with PC, requiring a lot of work to put it back on line (that is, if you can get it back on line without having to reconfigure WIFi settings);
Auto feeder smudges prints (and, mine is factory new);
Auto feeder requires user to apply pressure on the guides to avoid tilted pictures.
Add to this the fact that it requires lowering firewall security level to allow instalation!
