Pros: Two-sided document printing, superb photo printing, print without computer.
Cons: Expensive ink, doesn't like refilled cartridges, performance "glitches"
The HP PhotoSmart Premium C309A all-in-one printer is a great printer when it works. Problems arise when you have both Windows PCs and Mac computers on the same network sharing the printer. I've experienced issues where the connection to the printer from the PCs ends and the PC needs to be rebooted in order to reestablish the printer connection. With the Mac, for some unexplainable reason, every so often the printer slows to a crawl (the next printing job, however, prints at normal speed). HP support is of no help (and telephone support comes from India!!).If you can tolerate intermittent "hiccups" from this machine, it produces excellent print-outs and possesses lots of features that come in handy.
