MY REVIEW:

I acquired my Zen Aurvana earphones about a year ago through a sweepstakes win. I have to say that I would have probably never spent the $80 on these earphones if I had to buy them... at that time. When we see earphones we typically would never spend more than $20 or $30 on a good pair. Why? Because people like me end up losing them, or having them end up in the washer and dryer.

Let me start off by saying that the earphones are worth every penny that they cost and some. The sound quality is superb! I just acquired a nice set of Sony noise canceling headphones. Let me tell you, even though the Aurvana earphones are not noise canceling, they are much more "noise canceling" than the noise canceling headphones! The music from my Ipod sounds remarkable, much better than from the cheap earbuds that Apple provides with the product. The sound comes out crystal clear.

They are comfortable to wear and that is a major plus for me. I am the type that cannot use earbuds because my ears start hurting after just a few minutes, but with these, they slide in and I barely notice them there. The only downside I have is there is a little bit of pressure that is created inside my ears from the sound waves and the fact that they fit snuggly in the opening of your ear. It's not a big deal, but a little bothersome. It is much less bothersome than the pain regular earbuds caused me.

They are very lightweight as other earbuds are, which makes them easy to lose, and they can also tangle. They are otherwise, like any other set of earbuds. The actual earbuds are made of contoured silicon, which is what makes them so comfortable. I believe my box had a set of 3 different sizes inside.

They come with a nice carrying case that helps to prevent losing them. The case is useful when storing them away but not very useful in terms of taking it to the gym if you don't have pockets to keep it in.

Go on and buy them, they are worth every cent! But keep a watchful eye out for them because their size makes them susceptible to loss or damage, just like any other pair of earbuds.
