Cons: Satellite signal is still line of sight...you have to remember that.

First of all let me tell you that I am a gadget freak! I own three DAP (Digital Audio Player) units including an IPOD touch, this is by far the most impressive of all of those. The Stiletto 2 has an amazing sound quality and it is customizable to your personal taste. You like tons of bass? You can have that. You like a little bass but want more accent on the sweet spot of the stereo signal, you can have that too.
The technology built into this unit is truly bleeding edge. What other single device can offer you the ability to hear commercial free satellite radio in your car or while out walking around, plus give you the flexibility to store up to 10 GB of your favorite MP3 files? And my favorite thing about this unit is that at night when I get home, it acceses my WiFi connection and I can continue to listen to my music online. I also like that I can record and save songs that I listen to from Sirius.
The sound as I said is amazing! I do recommend that if your going to use the WiFi at home or work, pay the extra couple of bucks for the upgrade to the Premium internet service. It is CD quality sound accross your WiFi connection.
The menus are so very easy to use, my 10 year old picked it up and was able to navigate thru all of the functions with no help from me. It looks and feels like an IPOD, but sounds better and does more. Look out Apple, this might be your biggest competition yet!!!
The software is easy to use and integrates the Stiletto with your PC effortlessly. The file formats acceptable to download to the Stiletto are MP3 and WMA. It makes saving your files easy.
The only thing I do not like is that when you are using it as a portable unit and you go into a building or get into a car you loose satellite reception. I know its no brainer right? But somehow I was hoping that some new technology had been developed to allow signal to pass thru walls. No such luck. However, Sirius has made great strides to provide terrestial signal in areas with alot of trees or on bridges. For example I travel on the San Francisco bay bridge everyday and it does not loose signal while I am driving on the bottom deck of the bridge, pretty cool!
Overall I give this unit a 9 out of 10...if it played video I would rate it a 10!
