A series of grisly murders brings Lara into conflict with a sinister Alchemist from the past, and a secret alliance of powerful individuals shrouded in mystery. At the center of these mysteries are the Obscura Paintings - five 14th century pieces of art that the Alchemist is desperate to repossess. Accused of the murder of her one time mentor, Werner Von Croy, Lara becomes a fugitive on the run. Pursued by the police, she follows the Alchemist into a dark world of blood, betrayal and vengeance where it is up to her to defeat this unholy alliance, and stop them from unleashing their incredible powers on the world.

Pros: graphics, rag doll physics, levels
Cons: this game astonishes me by doing almost everything wrong
the graphics make lara look better
all around better detail
good lookin enviroments
story isnt really there
and the control is horrible
there seems to be something wrong with lara
it seems shes slow to respond to everything
maybe she hit her head a little too hard in egypt once before this game was made and doesnt seem to understand commands
you get skills and such but its all unbalanced
later in the game you actually higher than she did in any other game but it seems all lagged
the guns play that i once loved is replaced with a all new horrible system when lara automatically goes into stealth mode with you draw them
this isnt really good since you sometimes have to run from huge bugs and shoot at the same time
it used to be perfect
yes there needed to be changes done to the old game
but why would you forsake her
