This primer is one of the best

This review is for the Laura Mercier regular primer (not the oil free version.) I have been using the Laura Mercier Primer for a number of years. This product lives up to its hype! I am in my mid-30s and have some fine line and large pores. I put the primer on after my moisturizer. The consistency of the primer is fluid and light. There's a little bit of smell but if smell of a product bothers you, this one won't bother you because it's so minimal. I apply the primer all over my face, paying attention to the fine lines under my eyes and on and around my nose where all my large pores are. I wait a couple minutes then apply my foundation. voila! Foundation goes on smooth as a cucumber. The primer fills in all the pores and lines, so your foundation goes right over your lines and pores, not in them.

My foundation stays on the best when I use the Laura Mercier primer. Sometimes I don't want to wear powder because I like that dewy look. My foundation will still be on my face at the end of the day. If I don't use the primer, I am bare-faced when I get home for the day. Overall, this primer (along with other Laura Mercier face products) is top quality. It is $30 at Sephora and local department stores but lasts me about 6 months and I apply it everyday, sometimes twice if I got out at night. At the very least, get a sample and try it out. You can get this primer at Sephora and some major department stores.
