The classic Super Nintendo game, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A Link to the Past makes its triumphant return on the Game Boy Advance! Annoying Link in an awesome game.

The Bottom Line:
It's multiplayer Zelda. Why wouldn't you want this?
The multiplayer experience in this game is something that all games should go through. Simply put, it is incredible. That, in a couple sentences, pretty much sums up the Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and the Four Swords.
Let's take a Link to the Past first. It's pretty much a straightforward remake of the original Super Nintendo game. There are subtle differences such as finding different items pop out if you whack some objects with your sword, but other than that it's the same thing. Also, since the screen is smaller, you end up scrolling to different screens more often. That's a very small complaint though as you can barely notice when you play. One annoying thing, which is probably the only thing that's bad about this game, is Link's annoying sounds. As with the Super Mario remakes that Nintendo has done with the GBA, the character now makes grunts, wails and yelps every now and then. But in this case, Link lets out a little war cry every time you make him swing his sword. Needless to say, this gets annoying after about the first five swings. Obnoxious, but not to the extent that it would tarnish the game.
Then there's the Four Swords, and this is where the real good stuff is. Think Link... times four. Yes, you get four people, four GBA's, four cartridges and enough link cables and you have a rocking good time that'll last for a while. It's not just a deathmatch or just Link to the Past with more than one Link. It's an entirely new game, new storyline and it's fun to see puzzles being solved with three other people. It's truly a great experience and no gamer should not play this.
In the end, it's only thirty bucks and it's thirty dollars well spent. It's an amazing game. I can't really sit here and explain it. You just have to go through and buy it to truly experience how great this game is. Come on... it's multiplayer Zelda. And Nintendo pulled it off with enough greatness to spare. You know you want it. Get it.
