Great for some peace and quiet!

Pros: Durable, good for younger and older children.
Cons: Only con is they leave them on the floor and you step on them.

We have four children in our home the oldest is 14 down to the youngest who is only 2. My 8 year old son really likes LEGO but we needed a size that the 2 year old couldn't choke on so we decided on this 71 piece set. What a GREAT choice it turned out to be!
My 8 year old has ADHD and not many things hold his interest for very long, but LEGO has been one of the very few things we've found he'll play with for an hour or more. Even better my 2 and 3 year old boys will also join in and build with him which means a whole HOUR of much needed peace in the house.
So one box of LEGOs with 71 pieces, 3 boys actually getting along, and all for $24.99!! What price would you pay for a bit of solitude? The pieces are easy for smaller hands but is still great for older children as well. My 8 year old isn't the least bit bothered that this particular set is for children ages 1 1/2 to 5 years. He still loves them! Not a day goes by that the legos don't get pulled out and played with. They can easily build small houses to LARGE towers using every lego piece in the house with no trouble at all.
I've found in the past that the age settings for toys are so off base you wonder if the person rating the toys for age even have children themselves, but this one is right on track. My two year old has even mastered putting the pieces together, although he is much happier watching the other two build towers and then destroying it. That's half the fun of legos though, build it up, tear it down, build again.
This toy is simply hours of fun and a great way to stimulate the imagination. My boys have built everything from houses to castles to pirate ships and more! So if you are like me and have a wide age range of children in the house, and are looking for a toy that's safe and fun for all of them, look no further. Even children over 5 years old will enjoy these legos for hours on end.
