Pros: Much easier to use than older universal remotes.

Cons: No RF support.  Easy to hit wrong selection on touch.  No Motion sense adjustment.

The Bottom Line: 
Like it.  Very good based on what you can do with current remote technology.

I did not have great expectations for this remote but have come to love it.  Having tried numerous 1st generation universal remotes I was hesitant to try again.  I am happy to say that Logitech has come a long way!  This one is much easier to program taking advantage of the now prevalent base of home computers where you can do most or all of your setup.  This makes it much easier!  I have nearly a dozen devices programmed in and do things now that I would not have done before.  I have merged the operation of compnents that would have been a nighmare with older remotes including my security cameras.   Just wish it had X10 rf support.

If you had similar experience with older universal remotes, it may be time to look again.  These are not perfect, but they have come a looonng way.  I think the manufacturers of tv's. stereo's, video players, etc could really help by adding built in 2-way rf support to their products. That would allow these remotes to poll status and make things MUCH more intelligent.

For what is available using one-way IR, this is about as good as it can get.

Needs to support X10 RF, and drive a standard for two way rf with all of the consumer electronics manufactrers.  More intelligent remote control is WAY OVERDUE.  But that is not the fault of this product.
