Pros: Zoo Tycoon is an excellent learning tool about animals habitats and business maths.
Cons: Boys may find it a bit boring, especially if they like fast moving, destructive games.
I really loved this game - building up a zoo and watching the little people walk around, seeing the baby animals born when the male and female are happy.
You have to really think about what the people need i.e. toilets, food and rubbish bins etc. It would be good for girls and boys 10 and up. One boy I know deliberately left fences in poor condition so the animals would be eaten up!
This would be excellent learning tool for anyone going into business or home schoolers, and just anyone wanting a mental challenge.
